![]() ![]() The graphical glitches seem to be with various shaders, are very minor (facial hair color is off, some clothes show polygon line work) and we're seemingly only present in Black Desert Online, not FO4. You will also notice interestingly the specs of the Virtual Machine are actually below what is recommended for Black Desert Online, especially considering I am running the game on Ultra settings.Īnd now for why I mentioned 'practically', there are still a couple rare/occasional stutters (I didn't notice any of these running on bootcamp) and some minor graphical glitches that weren't in bootcamp either. As you will see in my previous review, in comparison on Mojave I was unable to get performance in BDO above 25fps on the lowest settings, illustrating a major improvement with Catalina. It was beyond acceptable performance, as I was running the game on remastered (Ultra) settings (equivalent to what I run in bootcamp as well). I tried to stress the video performance in BDO by aggro-ing as many mobs as possible and spamming as many particle effect intensive attacks, and there was no drop or change in performance that was any worse than what also occured in Bootcamp (~5fps). ![]() It shocks me to say this, but the framerate performance running both Fallout 4 and Black Desert Online (both ~45fps avg.) is either identical to Bootcamp or within 1-2 FPS. Parallels is now practically on-par with Bootcamp (Auto to: 2 vCPUs, 4GB System RAM, 4GB vRAM) Virtual Machine Setup: 'Gaming Only' Parallels profile.
